Thanks Guys - just having a massive wardrobe dilema now, I really have one 'work' outfit, black trousers and a fitted black shirt - cant be wearing that all this week! No idea what I own that would be suitable.....last time I worked for a law firm it was where my mum worked (shh on that though) and I just pretty much wore whatever I wanted as I had my own office.....Off to Tesco for shopping tonight so I might have a quick browse at thier clothes seeing if they have something suitable.
I am litterally praying it does go Perm for me because not only will it feel like Im richit is also a pretty good job - they are one of THE biggest law firms in the UK so there is massive scope for promotions etc My mum said she's applied for them in the past and been rejected so if Ive managed to get in...
never know I might be able to get her an In somewhere too

I'm in again
Fell off the wagon a bit with the Superdrug 19p washes etc but have recently had quite a few outs.
Then today 4 x Dove deodorants, but they work out at 5p each with the £1 coupon and Tescos BOGOF offer
Away to catch up on all the pages.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

Congratulations Charlie!! Can you do some clever mixing and matching with your wardrobe?! Its amazing how you make an outfit look different with some accessories.
I have Ins to declare, my Avon order came yesterday so I have the Pore cleanser, toner pads, moisturiser and blemish gel and the Anew eyecream and supershock mascara which also had some sunglasses which are fab!
I was very good yesterday and totally ignored Boots! Feel very proud!0 -
Charlie, you could get away with just changing your top every day this week until you have some money to buy more clothes. Or do you have any nice summery dresses? That could go for office attire couldn't it? Well done for getting the job though, that's brill news
.
I'm feeling ghastly today. Have had abdo pain since Friday night. Grumbly, niggly pain but copeable with. When I was trying to sleep yesterday I kept getting uncomfortable and fidgeting. When I woke yesterday evening it was excruciatingIt was like I was having contractions but it also starts from the top of my stomach. I ended up having to ring in sick at 6.15 which is not a lot of notice. Trust policy states we have to ring in sick by 2pm and now I'm worried I'm going to get into lots of trouble for that too
I've phoned and said I can't go in tonight either because I'm so sore but I don't feel anything like as bad as I did yesterday. My manager said if it carries on then I'll have to either see my GP or go in to hospital. It might be a case of ringing my GP tomorrow and threatening all sorts to get an appointment. They're an absolute nightmare.

Im not sure any of my dresses would be suitablemost of them are either very loud etc or what I would class as too revealing for that kind of job. Im really not sure I have other suitable tops, most of my tops are tshirts with pictures of cartoons characters haha -probably wearing a top with the moomins or bambi wouldnt be classed as office attire :rotfl:...
I do have a plain black dress (was my xmas dress) that I could wear but I think I might need a few tops, will see whats in Mr T's anyway....
Got paid £10 from Quidco last night so theres a little bit of money aside, plus what I have left in the bank and thankfully the bus is £2.75 so not a fortune....Don't know how often they pay and no idea how long the job even just temporary would go on for but I think officey clothes are an investment seeing as I dont have any
Hope you feel better soon Kaz - certainly no expert but I had a similar type pain on holiday and the doctor said my stomach was swollen and had to take medsMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Just caught up and finished the 7 pages in 4 days
I hope everyone is enjoying this spell of fine weather we are all having. Have applied the tan moisturising lotion to try and make my legs look presentable but dislike the smell, are there any that don't smell?
Went to another SD today no 19p bargains, but got the £1 New Look shorts. They are small made and I wish there was the next size up as now thinking I might not wear them as feel they are pretty low cutI wonder if I could take them back and exhange for tomorrow's £1 offer?
