If all else fails then champers and chocs are a surefire way to let someone know that you like them and wanted to get something nice for them. Ok it's not the most imaginative present in the world but.....
it doesn't matter. You could add a silver picture frame depending on how much you want to spend.

Again I agree with the champagne and chocolates idea. Jay-Jay's idea of the thank you letter is an excellent idea - no cost just manners.
