Does anyone know if this hotel is within walking distance of theatreland?

    According to Google Maps, it's just over a mile from the hotel - north side of Blackfriars Bridge - to Shaftesbury Avenue.

    Some theatres are a little closer, others a little further.

    It is about a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel to Covent Garden Theatres.

    I wouldn't walk it - I'd opt for catching a bus, Number 11 from Liverpool Street -

    See I would say walk it because it gives you more of a chance to take in the local area :)

    I live here, but I still love to walk to whatever place I am going for a nosey about :)

    You won't find a more fascinating city to walk through.

    My only problem would be getting diverted and missing curtain up.
