Sky CS - Have you achieved a satisfactory outcome...

Please can you reply stating if you have you achieved a satisfactory outcome from speaking to Sky CS (whatver the problem) using the normal, official channels only i.e. telephone or email their 1st line CS (emails to james murdoch etc. should not count).

Every time I try to get something sorted out with customer services/technical support it is a truly nightmarish experience. The staff really are truly awful and any conversation with them leaves you with a headache and a need to sit down :mad:.

    Certainly not you - my most frustrating things are
    (1) the length of wait - whatever time you call
    (2) the number of times you have to repeat yourself
    (3) the inability for them to grant you any technical comptence
    (4) blatantly lying to you

    .... in fact I think you can say that about most call centres.

    I should stress I have voted "no" above even though in general I have received a 'satisfactory outcome', even if I've had to threaten to cancel, run up huge phone bills etc....

  • no - it took nearly 2 hours of being passed from person to person because I wanted to cancel my contract with them! And even after that phone call they only accepted the fact I had cancelled after I stoped the direct debit to them and after I threatened them with legal action after they threatened me with non payment judgements, court etc. Lovely company - not!
