Hi there
Me and my boyfriend have just signed for and are moving into our first rented home together on the 15th July. I am sorting through the bits and bobs that we need to do for bills i,e, elec, gas and water suppliers and council tax etc but was wondering what type of home insurance we need to get?
Any suggestions will be a great help as we have no idea what type to get as we dont own the building but we do want our stuff that we own inside the building covered.

you should check with the letting agent if there is anything you need to cover but usually you just insure your contents and the owner will insure the building.
You need home contents insurance which depending on what you have is usually less than £100 a year, have a look on the comparision sites, hope this helps:j0 -
You're looking at a contents only insurance.0
