Can we hold different credit cards registered to different addresses?

We will be moving into rented accommodation in connection with a move to a new area due to OH's work.
We are keeping our family home (son is continuing to stay here) and we will be here most weekends and holidays.
When you order things (especially online) you can only have them delivered to the address the card is registered at. As there will be times we want to order things at both addresses, can we have a cc registered to our own home address and also another different card registered at the new rented address?

Many companies will allow the delivery address to be different from the billing address nowadays. A typical use would be to send a gift to someone or for a business to order from a branch office when the card is registered at the head office. I'd suggest that you keep the card address the same but use companies that will deliver to a different address.

James.
Thanks James but it's not always that easy. We shop online so we can access better prices. Having to introduce certain delivery criteria may well preclude us from accessing those.
Even the house insurance that I was renewing the other day required the card to be registered at the same address.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I have a Natwest credit card registered to my parents address (even though I moved out 10 years ago!). I also have all my Natwest banking and another credit card registered to my current address. God knows how they've never noticed it or made me change my address but shows it is possible. Has been very helpful on a couple of occasions when I could only get things delivered to the registered address.0

You may be able to have a 2nd address on file with your credit card company. I have a feeling this is more common in the USA than the UK.0

Find the website u'd like to purchase from and go through the checkout proccess to see if it offers the option for a different shipping address. If it doesn't, be careful you don't confirm purchase or payment and just back out.
I know some websites will only ship to your billing address on the first ever order with them, then unlock the ability to ship to other addresses there after.0
