I stayed at the Hoxton on their £1 deal last year. The night before I was lucky and stayed at a Hilton hotel for £10 too..

The hotel itself is great. Really comfy beds and modern without looking like a wharehouse.

The location is a little rough and ready after dark around the tube station though.
