I've just ordered the Buffalo Airstation from eBuyer which looks good value to me - it gets decent enough reviews and has the external aerial which can be replaced to boost speed if required.

It's for my parents and arrives at the end of the week; if you want a review PM me and I'll let you know how I get on setting it up and how it performs.

My sister just got one of these although we went for this one. Very cheap and easy to set up. If you can get a compatible Buffalo device then you can get very easy security setup (AOSS) and the increased speed of Turbo G mode.

She's not using that and it still easy to setup & works fine as a normal 802.11g wireless router, bargain.

Powerdrive Computers has a special offer on this week on the Sitecom - Wireless Network 300N Router WL-183. It's normally £74.99, but they are doing it at £55.99, until this Friday at 5pm. Might be worth taking a look.

Play.com have the Netgear WGR614 Cable/DSL 54 Mbps Wireless Router EN, Fast EN, 802.11b, 802.11g down from £49.99 to £37.99

    Scan.co.uk have a Belkin F5D7632UK4 Wireless 54Mbps ADSL Modem+Router with 4 Port Switch at £33.95.

Which one you go for will also depend on whether you have a ADSL or Cable modem.
