Fake amazon £10 discount

beware any visitors to amazon.co.uk shown a £10 gift voucher in your basket. It is an advert for mastercard and not a genuine discount. Amazon apologised to me for it being misleading but said they have no contractual obligation to pay the £10 and will not uphold it.

How is that helpful? The OP is only stating what they came across. Being that the ad you've pasted does not state you need to do anything to redeem the discount (the fact that there is a message about the amazon credit card is irrelevant), some people could find it misleading."What day is it?"
"It's today," squeaked Piglet.
"My favorite day," said Pooh."0 -
