iI30 central locking problems
recently bought a 2 year old Hyundai I30, had problems with having to keep resetting the transponder in key fob, sometimes couldnt reset it at all. when the fob didnt work remotely I had to lock the car by turning the key in the drivers door BUT that only locked the drivers door therefore the boot and ither 3 doors remained unlocked (none of them have a keyhole).
The car returned to dealer yesterday to have a new switch fitted on the ignition barrel (it was a missed recall aparently) so the key fobs should be ok now BUT the doors will still not lock manuallly with the key, surely that cant be right can it?
They will unlock with the key in the door but not lock, so if the remote fob fails again I cant lock the boot, I could lock the doors from the inside before i get out although I dont think I should have to
Anyone else with an i30 with similar problems
EDit
The dealer is an hours drive away so not easy just to pop in, but I am going to a local dealer today and hoefully find out if this is a fault or if it is designed like it

it's still under warranty, just go to a local dealer, and pretty sure those have a 5 year warranty, tell them you want it fixed:T , dont worry head, go to sleep again:rotfl:0

I know all that but that didnt answer my question, and you are lucky if you can go to sleep at 7am
The selling dealer doesnt know what to do with it, but a dealer I popped in to today to ask, has arranged to sort it0
