Baggage allowance - Qatar Airways

We're flying to Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania, Africa) next month. We're allowed 25KG each. I'm taking about 9KG as my own clothes and then the rest is bags of clothes and items to give away!

Can the 25KG be split between two bags or do I need to keep it all in one case? Thanks

I think you need to check your tickets as if I remember correctly, checked baggage for economy is 23kg - not 25.

Judging by the number of items of luggage being checked in by individuals on recent QR flights, I suspect you may be allowed more than one piece - but I would certainly check with their customers services to make sure.

You can add another 10kg to your alowance by being a member of their FF scheme.

Extra baggage allowance
As a Burgundy member you are entitled to an extra baggage allowance* of 10 kgs when travelling on Qatar Airways or flights operated by Qatar Airways. Burgundy members must present their membership card at the time of check-in to avail this benefit.
