Bed bugs and dust mites in a new rug

Hi,

About a month ago, we purchased a rug from Marks and Spencer online shop and within a week I realized that there are some dust mites or similar infestation in the rug, my wife got several rashes from their bites.

We have returned the rug, but the bugs have spread to our mattress and bedding and now the situation is worse than ever. Even after several sprays of bug killer, they are still here and biting us.

We feel let down by M&S and want to know what our right are in this situation.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Sugam

You will first need proof that the mites/bugs came from the rug. Do you have any actual proof of this ?
