I am also a betterware distributor and re started with them almost a month ago so to build up my customers i have put a little slip in the catalogue bag saying "orders over £20 you get a lucky dip for the Saturday following the delivery of your order" this means you use £1 of the 4 you earn from that £20 order. also the re order slips are vital I used them for the first time this week as I saw it as pressure selling, so I use them to tell my customers when i will be dilivering there goods so this week instead of the £160 pounds in orders i would have got i got £213 due to delivering goods and another order from the same customer waiting for me.0

Good to hear from another pro Betterware person taker 8 :T
A couple of thing that might help
Ask your manager to get you some REALLY cheap products. These are available to them when they order. I think they get a discount off of these also??? Some of the products available to them are older products available prices such as £20 for 200. 10p each!!! You could talk this through with them & be far more cost effective.
The re-order slips are no way a pressure selling techniques. The re-orders slips are more of a customer service tool which is three fold - as well as thanking them for their order - tells them how much the order is & therefore the customer should have the money ready & waiting so cuts down on delivery time- tells them the day & approx time of the delivery so ceut down on delivery time - & also gives them another chance to look at the book again. Company stats say that 25% will be earned from Re-orders alone.
Treat your customers correctly & in 90% of the cases they will remain your customers. Remember customer talk to customers the good word gets around
The BETTER agents in Betterware will always use this re-order method & also wouldn't ever use a bag to put the look in. A book bag slows the order rate order as time proven fact. If your worried about order forms blowing away them staple them to the inside front cover.
Hope this helps

Hi John
Thats an interesting comment about not using a bag to put the book in - is that on a normal drop or just with the reorder method?
So do they just leave the book again with another order form then?
Thanks

Hi Debbie
I think talking about the pro's & cons of a catalogue bag could go on for weeks 'n' weeks & still it would come down to an individualls choice :rotfl:
The book bags are not part of the free Betterware package. They dont cost a lot, but my contact has never used them in all his years.
He tells me that the best performing agents dont use bags at all. He'd much prefer soaking wet books looked @ then a dry book never looked at, as it never even had a chance. The way Betterware is set up is pretty much chicken 'n' egg as I see it. More sale & more new people join the more books Betterware sends you each week free of charge.
BUT........ the books get wet, some people tell him!!! Yes they do BUT the bag is a barrier & as people are very busy they will throw the book back outside so therefore the books had never been given a chance of a sale.
The bags have to have holes in them by law, thats health & safety I beleive, So any book in a bag keft outside when its raining will get water inside it. Once the water get inside the book, its virtually had it any way. I think Kleeneze tells you to dry them out & iron them to make them look new again. :rotfl:
The re-order sales system works very well. Its a little extra work to go out again & deliver another book back to the customer about 2 days before the agent wishes to deliver the orders They do this with a post it note type lable on the front cover BUT for the money per hour earned it is very very rewarding.
The post it note could be stuck on the front cover of the same book the customer has already seen or on the front cover of the book bag.
My contact says his firsts quarter results are in & he says hes near bang on £27K over target after 12 weeks. Thats over £2K per week more than he did last year. He says he could still do with someone in Oxford, Banbury & Newbury & then he'd be able to do much much more!!! These guys earn over 30% comm on books + bonuses & incentivesd & another 11+% on their team sales if they want to build a team. Sounds as though they are doing very very well.
Dont hear much from Kleeneze anymore do we :rotfl:
I hope this answers your questions & helps you Debbie

Company stats Angel tell you should get @ least 25% more sales by working the re-order method
Its simpley fantastic customer service :T
Thats only one reason why Betterwares sales are UP & Kleenezes are reporting to be down yet again :rotfl:
Good riddance to them

The Bulk Sales information you talk about i assume are from Kleeneze reports, these figures are the persons team sales. You recruit people and teach them to retail and recruit and their turnover becomes part of your total turnover as they are in your group.

Hi,
Just wanted to add my experience with both Kleeneze and Betterware.
You can make good money with both, of course you will only get £20-£50 if you deliver only 200 catalogues. That's a no brainer.
I stopped doing Kleeneze due to the costs involved, what with buying catalogues etc. I thought this to be stupid. Betterware however is very good. You get your own area and depending on if you choose to do full-time or part-time you get a set number of catalogues at first. These can be topped up each week for free.
Doing 500 catalogues (for example) won't necessarily give you £500 in orders. I recommend that you do maybe 500-550 or even 600 catalogues to get £500 in orders. This in my mind is playing it safe and you will be a little surprised if you get £600 in orders.
You need to put the effort in. Like I said at the start of this article if you do only 2 hours and 200 catalogues and expect £50+++++ then you're feet are not on the floor. It's the same as going to work in an office (for example), you don't go to work and work 2 hours and expect a full days pay!
This is what I do. I have a set plan every week and works very well. Everyone has their own plan of how and what they do on certain days of the week. I put out 500 catalogues 3 times a week. I get in the region of £1,400-£1,600 in orders. With 20% commission this = £280-£320 a week. I spend a total of around 35 hours a week delivery, collecting, delivering orders and paperwork.
I have been doing Betterware for a few years now within the same large area I had when I first started.
It works for me because I put the effort in. My wife is also doing the same as me now and she to is seeing the same results as I get.
The above is my experience I have had and I am currently having.
Thanks for reading.
