Car Calamity & Warranty Woes

Forgive the title of the thread, the background to this thread is as follows.

June 2010, I bought a car through a personal loan, and a second hand car warranty through a point of sale loan. The supplier of the warranty went into administration in the first quarter of 2011 unfortunately.

So I tried to get the finance provider for the warranty to fulfill their duty under section 75 of the consumer credit act. Which they have done, kicking and screaming pretty much all of the way, but they have provided me with a new warranty from a 3rd party that commenced yesterday, brilliant.

Well actually (i'll get to the point soon, I promise) last Friday my car experience a Turbo failure.

So I was wondering where I stand, because I bought a warranty that provided me with cover from 15/06/2010-14/06/2013 and the finance company have provided me with a warranty that covers me from 28/06/2011-14/06/2013, but will not pay out for retrospective claims (which you would expect).

Does the finance company have to cover me for the cost of the repair as its not covered by their warranty?
