Inexpensive Paving

Does anyone have any experience of ordering paving online?
I think we need about 25 square metres for our wee patio and was hoping to get something around the £20 mark.

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

I've got a decent looking slab for £10 a square metre, from a local builders merchant.

You may find your local builders merchants have some end of lines they are trying to clear out and you won't have to pay huge transport costs.

Good price, but they're only 300 x 300, and varying thicknesses, Would be a real pia to lay.

i got all mine off ebay for 50 quid. total.
very thick HD slabs.

Remember that the paving is only about a third of the total cost, so don't skimp on the base prep, which will cost the same regardless of the slabs you lay.

Should be able to get some decent quality sandstone for £16-21 per square metre.
