Is there a removal tool for Avira?

I have used removal tools for Norton, AVG etc. in the past to completely remove them.

Can anyone tell me if Avira has one?

I could only find this Registry Cleaner which "removes all entries that were created by AntiVir."

Not sure if that is sufficient on its own, after an uninstall.

There is no specific uninstaller for Avira Antivir , you can use a third-party uninstaller instead like Revo Uninstaller or AppRemover

The registry cleaner is basically what you're after uninstall avira and run the cleaner.

Avira standard removal is normally pretty good, I have recently removed Avira from a number of my machines with no problems.
