They cant pluck flights out of thin air and they cant just charter a plane just for you and your partner. Some perfectly good advice which explain this and maybe waiting a bit to see if flights are released for sep 2012.0

Flights are released 11 months ahead. I had to wait until end of June to book my May 2012 flights as they won't book any later than that.
If you wait until end of August, then the July flights will be available. If you wait until the 20th September the August flights may be available. Unfortunately the September flights will not be available to you.
My advice is to wait until September and then rebook the flights for august as they will have availability then.
I don't know why the agent didn't tell you this.0 -
Ebooker staff have struggled to provide consistent information regarding my options. Polite but fairly useless. I do realise they can't pluck flights out of thin air. What I had hoped is that as couldn't accommodate the flight requests I made, they would allow us to upgrade to an open ticket or even offer a credit for future more convenient use.
Alas they will do nothing at all, no amount of reasoning has helped, they are rigidly holding me to the inflexible terms I foolishly agreed to.
So....will wait until September 20th now. Doesn't give them much time to resell the seats but in order to rebook 11 months ahead we have no choice.
As for leave the baby with grandparents, mine are too old, hers have retired to a far away country so probably not going to be comfortable sending baby there. Not that we wouldn't prefer to spend our honeymoon alone just the two of us.
Only remaining option looks to be last minute rebook hopefully for July/august next year, clue up on travelling with a baby and make sure it is fully protected from the many hazards of SE Asia0 -

Sorrry but as I see it they are being as flexible as the ticket rules allow, they have offered you the chance to rebook within 12 months from ticket date,
As for offering you an open ticket or flight credit voucher. Why would you expect those options, you purchased a cheap ticket and are bound by those ticket conditions, if you wanted the convienence of a fully flexible ticket, you should have paid for one at booking, (At multiple times the cost of the inflexible ticket), and not be expecting the airline / booking agent to be supplying those now your circumstances have changed,
Cheap tickets always have inflexible terms, theta why the airline sells them cheaper than flex tickets, otherwise everyone would do what you are requested they do.
Realistically you are just going to have to live with what they are offering..Over 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0
