Ive just had a chat with Navide Akbar Litigation manager from Excel who claims they are putting in a new strategy and are now taking lots more people to court????. He says in his "whole time in the job (one year) that he has not come across a successful defence put up by one of the consumer web sites.
Their marketing team is now going to be making people more aware that they are winning cases.
Well he would say that, wouldn't he? - to reprise a famous quote.
Who in their right mind would lay all their cards down on the table if all they have are dog-eared jokers? If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
Cheeky git. I get less than that working for a major manufacturer of medical diagnostics equipment.peter_the_piper wrote: »Maybe I should have applied that's 50% more than I get now.
No offence intended chaps. I have a couple of friends in this line of business, I was basing it on what I know they earn.
I know a lot of people work damn hard for a lot less. Sorry for any offence caused.:o0 -
I'm only offended by the fact he is (earning) paid that much for only a 5 day week. Lightweight!!I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Well depending on his new strategy he may not be earning it for too much longer.;)
Unfortunately it looks as if enough people are paying up by their usual threats to keep him in his job at present!0 -
You can tell how desperate PPCs are becoming. This is a posting on CAG last night from a thread about Total Parking Solutions:-
Guys, I was recently taken to court by these cowboys and made to pay for 6 tickets I had ignored. The same day there was 2 other people before me both were made to pay cost. The judge would not accept that I didn't know who was driving my car and said that since I was the only person insured to drive my car that would be likely that was me driving it. Not sure what is going on but I thought these tickets were unenforceable? Can some one please let me know what is going on?
Of course they were asked for more details and what parking company they work for. Answer came there none. Even by the standards of PPC trolls this was pathetic. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
