New Reg causes stress at DVLA.

Have they met their match? http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=62919

Chap buys new reg off DVLA and now they want to withdraw it. Can't think why.
REG= BO11LUX.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

    Well that's bad luck isn't it? Perhaps the lucky owner should charge the DVLA a Kings Ransom and give them a taste of their own medicine! If it begins with B, I think that means it is registered in the Birmingham area (not clued on all letter codes) - so is 11 the problem? What else do we use for cars registered from March 2011? And what is wrong with LUX?? Is it the driver's fault English has certain connotations and its phonetical laws may seem disagreeable to some???? DVLA - filthy bаstards in the first place even thinking what they do!!!!! To me, it is just B.O 11 L.U.X

    Aaahhh, finally - it has dawned on me what the problem is!!!! :mad:

    It is first two letters! They are associated with Body Odour are they not!!!! Absolutely then, recall all number plates with this combination from 51-period onward! :D

    I must admit, I wouldn't want to be driving with BO11LUX so I'd sell it on anyway... Comedian Jethro has a brilliant one, he owns J35 TER.

    According to the report i read the dvla dont just want it back, they have revoked it even after the owner actually bought it from them off their own site.
    Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.
  • When I was stationed in Virginia in the mid 1990's with the Royal Navy, I had a 1968 Ford Mustang... the Registration plate?? "Bollux". I got a strange look at the Department of Motor Vehicles... "So you want Boo-lox??"... And for a private plate it was only $35 a year.. Bargain..
