How much do you spend per week?

Apologies if this might be in the wrong place....
How much do you and your family (I live with my girlfriend and a house rabbit, although he's not a big cost) spend per week on 'other' bits - i.e. food, toiletries and any other consumables - excluding phone top-ups etc...
Just interested as I'm trying to work out a budget, and have guessed at £60 per week....
Any help would be much appreciated!

I thought £80 a month was expensive lol

To be fair, on the surface I may seem like a true MSE with only £80 between me and my OH but we do tend to eat out a lot :O0 -

me & OH spend 100 a month on food toiletries & cleanuing between us.
OH occasionally buys lunch out, but thats his choice, and his money. we buy newspapers when we want them out of out "own" money. I tend to buy a sunday one and thats it. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Well we budget £150 for food, £50 a month for petrol, and spend roughly £60/£70 a week on bits and bobs, dh getting into work and his lunches etc so I'd say around £106 p/w which includes everything for 2 adults, a toddler (and another on the way!)Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
Que sera, sera.

Gosh these figures are amazing!!
When I look at what we spend, I just can't believe that it could get a lot lower, which is why I posted this; to see if other people actually do spend less than us!!
Lynzpower (and sgx.saint for that matter!) - what do you get for £20-25/week - a lot of veg and basics or do you have a knack?!0 -

The key is to work out exactly what you NEED every week to be able to make full meals out of.
As an example this week we have had
Monday-bangers, mash, green beans, carrots & onion gravy
tuesday chicken fillets on a bed of chilli & garlic vegetable vermicelli
wednesday- eggs, sausages, chips and beans & mushrooms & homemade bread
tonight - chorizo, onion & mushroom pizza with chicken dippers ( home made) and jam pie & custard
The knack is
a) using up what youve got in
b) knowing whats cheap where and buying it when you are there ie, passed lidl the other day & got a few things from there we like
c) going to supermarket at the right time to get the reductions.
When I went to Mr Ts on monday, everything I bought had a yellow label on it! Theyd obvoiulsy over ordered so there was loads. I spent 22 quid, and have plenty of meat in the freezer for after Xmas. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most?
