8 Months with FD. They have not called me once. When I have called them they have always been excelent to deal with. Better CS than any other large organisation I have ever delt with (so far).0

1.Are you sure that these calls really are coming from HSBC & not crooks hoping you will give them details of your present account.
2. You say you have opted out of receiving phone calls, just make sure that they indeed marked you down as this.Then next time they call :
(a) ask them for their name
(b) their department
(c) make a note of the time and what was said.
3. Make a formal complaint using the banks complaint procedure, ask for an explaination and some compensation.
PS First Direct are so good at what they do, they have no need to tout for extra business this way!0 -
I've never been called by First Direct apart from the time I was abroad and paying for an item on my debit card. They phone me just after I entered my pin number asking if it was me!0
