Praise: Cuisinart

Our two year old Cuisinart ice cream maker mixer stopped working properly last week. It is the size of a large breadmaker and a bit heavier.

I rang Cuisinart expecting to get a either a service call or a spare part in the post. No, the young lady said without prompting "sorry for your problem, we will replace it with a new one, what time can we deliver the new one and collect the old one?"

No data security questions; no can you describe the fault in all its glory; no whats the code on your receipt and exact date of purchase and can you fill in this form please - just a direct replacement delivered to my door. I didn't even have to pack up the old one.

I haven't posted on this part of the forum before but I thought this level of service deserves a mention: Thanks very much Cuisinart for the excellent service! :T

(p.s. it makes wonderful ice-cream)
