    I had:

Old and borrowed: My nan's engagement ring
New: Alomst everything I was wearing!
Blue: My colour theme was teal so lots of bluey coloured flowers and crystals on my tiara

Sixpence: As my dad passed away I found one on ebay from the year he was born for my shoe (it was only 99p, not like the ones from Hobbycraft etc costing £8.50 )
I did exactly this to remember my Father (1903). So many other things going on on the day I didn't find the sixpence in my shoe uncomfortable at all. Borrowed was my Mothers pearls, old was DH's deceased grandfathers signet ring sewn into a pocket in my dress. Blue was the traditional garter. New was my underwear.
