Oh! Is there any reason my bank account does not show on my report? Is it because its a new single bank account (had it for three weeks part of my...improve my credit rating kick)
I tried to get a report from Equifax but it didn't work for some reason and I do not want to put my DC details in again.

I am assuming if there was something bad lurking on my equifax CR then Experian would have picked it up too??

Not necessarily. Its not unheard of for one agency to show a person on the electoral roll but for another not (though thats always an error with the agency).

And sometimes you will find a default on one agency file and not another.

Any new account can take 4-6 weeks to show, sometimes more.

Were you going for the onlne report from equifax or the postal one? You could try ordering the postal one maybe instead?

It's because it takes 2-3 months to show.
I'm afraid you're going to need a lot more patience :-)

Not necessarily. If it's a lender that doesn't report to Experian then it won't be on the Experian report, so no you cannot cover it by getting one report.
You need to get all 3 for a full picture or at least the 2 main ones.
If you don't want to put your payment details in again then ring Equifax.
It may be that because they cannot verify you on-line (because you don't show on the ER) then they cannot verify your id, so they are actually doing this to protect you and stop anyone else getting your report.
My feeling is the problem is largely lack of credit history, ER and time at address.
It's the lack of information not any negative information.
But you simply aren't going to be able to guess it by asking questions here.
You actually need to get the report and if you need to phone them to do that then phone them.
