They said I can open a dispute on the 8th July (albeit it isn't guaranteed that I'll get the money but she said it looks likely that I will be able to!) ......... thankfully, they recognise that although it's two seperate payments, it's still the same company.

OP, when you spoke to your bank, it looks like you may've discussed the VISA chargeback scheme.

There is a bit at the bottom about debit cards.

I sat here getting annoyed that they hadn't replied to my email and decided to phone them...

After being on hold for over 25 minutes, I finally got through to someone. He assured me that the two payments of £1.95 taken on Wednesday had been refunded yesterday (not showing on my online banking when I looked this morning but I'll keep checking!).

I asked about my other refund and he said that the 2 x £59.99 payments are to be refunded on 10th July at 2pm (!!??). There was no mention of them taking the £19.41 off each payment.

I guess I will have to wait until then and see!
