the problem with advising people to upload anything to the internet or to download and install; is that the OP is:
A - using a works computer and probably won't be able to install software
B - may have monitored internet usage
C - might not have internet access (posted at 7:50 and not been back)
D - sending to somebody else who might not have internet access / monitored email
E - any of the options can be on blocked sites.0 -

yep, it seems that they have to send the photos as part of their job but they won't have access rights to install compression software.0

Am grateful to all replies however the above is by far the simplest for my sore brain. I tried it out sending myself pics and it seemed to be pretty quick so can anyone see any problems using this method as suggested. Thanks.0 -
For the record I have used this method for years without any trouble. I send video messages, photos and any other files deemed legal by my ISP.
Glad to have been of help and thank you for letting me know how you got on.It's not my fault your honour, they made me do it.0 -

Nah no issues with it at all. It was integrated into operating systems to make it easier to email pictures without compromising the size of the file incase you do need the original.0
