Do you have a 64-bit install disc?
I am pretty sure one came with the computer yeah. But the computer was pre-installed with 32-Bit so not really sure about it.

Old hardware may not work as it has no 64 bit drivers but a search will often reveal workarounds for those that refuse to work under 64 bits or even custom drivers ,Driversguide .com .

The Canon 64bit driver for my Canon i560 was useless.

The best thing I've found for my i560 and HP Laserjet1320, is to install Windows, then plug in your printer, via usb, and let Windows update find the drivers.
Both my printers work with full functionality.
    Move along, nothing to see.
