Business Vouchers? where can I get them

Hello

I would like to get some professional business vouchers. For example £5, £10 upto £20. We are only a small business and I've been printing them on my home computer but worry about fraud and would like the professional touch.

No epos system in place if that makes a difference.

I don't know what quantities you're looking at, but this might work out pretty expensive to do something any more fraudproof than what you've currently got.

DH works for a charity which sells meal vouchers which can then be given to people who are begging (rather than cash), and the vouchers can be redeemed for a hot meal at the charity's coffee shop. Although there's limited scope for fraud there, I believe they have a rubber stamp which they use on each ticket to help establish that they are genuine. It seems to me that you'd have to be really desperate to get a rubber stamp made up as well as copying whatever's printed. And if you bought a distinctively coloured inkpad that might make it easier.

I realise this isn't an answer if you're doing these in larger quanitities, but it might help?

Hi,

I have produced many of these for small local businesses

I produce vouchers onto credit card sized pvc ( you see them alot in bigger outlets now marketed as "Gift Cards" - although these are used in conjunction with an EPOS system, they do not have to be)

These are less likely to be reproduced for fraudulant use as small runs can be expensive, beauty of this type of product is that they can be re used and have a constant use life of approx 3 years!

that said, I produce them for businesses very very cheaply, complete with ser # if required for tracking purposes or for an initial outlay you can have your own hologram printed onto the card?

I would be happy to discuss this with you should you wish. as a ballpark figure these can be produced for approx 25p each

What software are you currently using to do these. I have been wanting to do this for my customers but everythingi do looks rubish and i would not want to give them out.

hi.. my mother has had done gift vouchers for her shop....

she went to a professional printers.....

there are 2 part .. bit like a cheque book.... with the shop details on etc.....and each one is individually numbered...

then the amount is left blank.........

so when a customer wants to buy a gift voucher.... for what ever value... the amount is written in on the stub part, and on the voucher part..... then torn off.. and put into a matching envelope....

when the voucher is to be redeemed..... it is then matched up to the stub...(corresponding no.)....

in the 4 years my mum has been trading no problems..

so it might be worth.... going to a local printers.... and seeing.....previous examples..... or see what they will charge....
