Can't get online after trojan attack

My son was on youtube on Sun night and an error alert came up,he ran malware scan and it said it had removed a trojan. He was on my user at the time,and now i cannot go online,windows troubleshooting says the server does not recognise me??
My sons user tag is fine though,he can get online?
I have our recent Disneyworld pics under my user,this is the only thing that i am concerned about as i cannot upload them to photobox to print off now,does anyone know how i can get the files saved? Do i need to buy a dvd writer for my netbook and save them that way? Sorry for all the questions!
p.s i do know i can put them onto a memory stick but worried i may transfer any virus mine has onto another pc.

    See if you can run system restore from the non infected profile as a first step, and make sure you pick a Restore Point from a date before all the problems occurred.

    After that from the non-affected user account, download and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, update it, then run a QUICK scan. clean anything it finds, and post the log here if you want our input on it:

    Download Hijackthis and save it somewhere you'll be able to find it later: http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/hijackthis/beta/HijackThis.exe
    Then go onto the affected account, and hold LEFT SHIFT and RIGHT CLICK on it, then Run as Administrator. Do a SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE LOG. Don't fix anything, just find a way to post the log that comes up in Notepad into this thread.
  • Hi, i have tried to do system restore but it says the file c drive is corrupted and won't let me do it. When we turn the netbook on,the black screen comes up first with run disk check and counts down to run if you don't press any key.....when i let it run a check is says something about installing virus software as to why it won't work?? This has been happening for a while though,not since the trojan attack.
    Will run scan now..thanks for your advice,will get back to you.
