purchase protection if I credit transfer

Hi I am planning a reasonable purchase about £700-800 for a carpet plus all costs fitting etc. With all the worrying news of businesses going under I have decided to pay by cc to get some protection.
As I do not have a free interest on purchase card I will transfer the balance to a free interest on balance transfer one after the first month (I cannot afford to pay in full) does anyone know do I still retain the purchase protection.
I would imagine so as the transactions are totally different, but just checking, thanks

Yeap, you are protected regardless of the balance transfer. So long as the purchase is minimum £100.0
