Whats the best card for me.

Hi All
Looking for some advice and recomendations for the best credit card for me.
I am going to the USA for a holiday and am looking for a credit card to use for car hire and the usual purchases. Never had a card before and intend only to use this one for holidays then pay it off as soon as bill arrives.

Thanks for tips in advance.

Nationwide or Post Office credit cards

Neither charge commission/fees on purchases abroad.

If you want cash withdrawals as well get a nationwide flex account - no fees there either (except charged by the US bank for providing the service).
