I dont buy myself anything as such, but i do give a friend £20, and she takes my children shopping, armed with a list from me, so they feel like they are buying me something for xmas. That way, i get some bits that i need, and the children love to be able to give me something!!!!

I have just ordered 7 CD's average price £6.99 each from the Band CD Christmas sale. They will not arrive until after Christmas now but as I will not be back in work until 4/1/07 I will have plenty of time to listen to them then.

    Happy Christmas to everyone

    Hi all,

Hope everyone is well and feeling festive :D

Just wondered if anyone buys THEMSELVES a christmas present

Absolutely - I got myself a DAB radio http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150071132600 to keep me company in the kitchen while I cook for the festivities without having to re-tune every 15 mins.

    Tally so far...

96 Mince pies - home made mince & pastry

2 Christmas Cakes - well one really but made a big POLO and sent the middle to my partners mum.

    83 Fairy cakes

    48 Cheese & Onion Tarts

    Cranberry & Orange sauce

60 Sausage rolls - again home made pastry and super "wellington royal sausage meat from my butcher"

    1 Coke cooked ham

    1 kg Turkish delight

1 Pavlova - top & bottom 15" dia using egg white from the pastry

2 Trays Cranberry and apricot short bread

    2 Trays Millionaire's shortbread

1 Pot of spiced sugared almonds

2 chickens - boned, prepared and stock made for a Thai curry on Saturday night.

    1 kg Edinburgh rock.

All I need now is someone to eat it!! :rotfl:

    Seasons greetings all.

    Matt

For the first time ever I have. I've splashed out on a necklace I fell in love with as my treat to me.
