Please can someone try and help????
A pays a cheque in on thursday - takes 5 days to clear so will clear on wednesday. A has written a cheque against this amount which was paid into B's account on the friday (day after original chq paid in). B's cheque should clear on the Thursday (day after original chq clears).
How likely do you think it is that B's cheque will bounce? Also am I right in thinking that A will incur any costs with regards to the cheque bouncing.
Thank you for your help.

How on earth can anyone guess whose cheque will bounce? However, it is always silly to write a cheque without knowing the funds are there to cover it. Some banks will charge a recipient for a bounced cheque. All banks will charge for a cheque written without the funds to cover it.0

I wasn't asking anyone to guess anything, my question speaks for itself. I'm fully aware how 'silly' it is to write a cheque without knowing that the funds are there to cover it. (and its not me I'm asking for incidentally. I hate cheques and never use them).0

The second cheque will bounce and the drawer (A) will be charged by most banks.0
