Hi all and thanks for reading..
I am with Alliance and Leicester (Santander) and have already reclaimed some bank charges around 6-12 months ago (claimed 1500 and got 500). I am still paying massive charges and this is causing me no end of difficulty in meeting my monthly payments. I know it probably sounds like I havent learned how to budget - maybe I havent - it always seems to be somethng totally unexpected that starts the ball rolling. I went into branch about 6 weeks ago and begged them to help me - i was paying 150 charges a week but the said until you are a certain amount over yourlimit they wont help you - this tends not to happen because i get paid weekly so i only (!) go around 200 or less over my limit - this is not considered to be enough. I have just been online to check my account and have discovered to my utter dismay that I have £90 charges scheduled to go out in July -
12 JulUNPAID ITEM FEE - SO£25.0012 JulPAID ITEM FEECARD PAYMENT TO CREDITEXPERT.CO.UK,7.99 GBP ON 17-05-2011£25.0012 JulDAILY UNARRANGED OVERDRAFT FEE£30.0012 JulDAILY ARRANGED OVERDRAFT FEE£10.00
This is just about the straw thats going to break the camels back - i have been advised to go bankrupt by cccs this week but really want to take responsibility and pay back what i owe - bank are making it bloody hard for me - i must have paid out at another 700-1000 in charges since my last clam - can i reclaim?
thanks again

You can try to claim again (only new fees, not fees you claimed for previously)
However I think you will be wasting your time, even if you prove genuine financial hardship.
You see, the bank don't have to offer any refund, and they may well consider having already given you a refund it didn't allow you to sort your problems out.
I suggest you contact someone like the CAB.
Or perhaps post your SoA on the DFW board and see if they can help you"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
