Egg credit card charge help please

Sent Egg the first letter asking for charges back, no surprise to be refused, heavily quoting OFT points.
Are Egg a special case re OFT saying £16 or below will not be investigated? plus they try to push you down the ombudsman route.
How best can i proceed have they ever defended in court?

Follow the MSE guide to reclaiming credit card fees, but you are correct that for egg use £16 rather than £12
