Great 'How do you stop yourself spending?' Hunt

I too follow the pigy bank technique. 3 banks and each a seperate function. I have standing orders for all my seperate savings accounts(including daughters) and a different bank for my salary and direct debts and a simple bank account(no overdraft facility) for my weekly spending which includes food, fuel and entertainment. AND after every week if I have a little left I immediatley log on and transfer this to my savings account. So effectivley I have three piggy banks.
Getting back to your question "how do I stop myself from spending" I never cary cash and I only have my dr card on me (without an overdraft facility) and if I have no cash in the bank then I cant face the embarrasment of it declining. I guess pride comes before fall in my case!Return and Restart August 2016
