Also my best flight price is with NW Airlines Mon 21.5.to Mon 27.5. for £354. but it goes via minneapolis so flight is 13 hours. Had a look at Manchester flight with BMI but Manchester is 4 hours drive from where we live so not really viable.:)

If you're a poker player (or brave enough to pose as one, as my friend once did at the Mandalay Bay) you can get free accomodation in some of the plush hotels on the premise that you'll spend loads in their casino. No idea if they check, but it's one way to cut costs

A more realistic and easy tip - print off a load of coupons for money off meals, 2 for 1 entry for some shows, tours, shopping etc. When I was there, we had so many that we didn't get close to using all of them. Just google "Las Vegas coupons" and sift through the results.
