I appreciate that and wasn't trying to take anything away from it but the chances of getting the feedback (and DSRs) removed are very low so the fact that the OP also didn't get a neg, affecting their 100%, is a plus side to a pretty naff situation.Except that the DSR's are far more important than FB, so having 1's across the board can be far more damaging, 2 x 1 in a category in a 12 month period can have dire consequences on your ability to sell on ebay.
Let's say they only got hit from one barrel and not both!0 -
Ok guys thank you....but how do I add a follow-up comment? I just wanted to point out really that it was in the description not be ar*ey with the buyer but just to show anyone reading my feedback that I'm honest.
I use ebay lots but find it quite hard to navigate and have looked all over for a way to add a comment back and can't find it!0 -
On your FB page, right at the bottom is the reply to feedback.0

Personally I would keep the positive feedback. I know the 1 star thing seems bad, but I know I'm not the only one that only looks to see if anyone has negative feedback. No red - no problem, when I buy something.
So if they've left you some green, chances are people will gloss over it when buying and only conentrate on the red negative comments about that seller.
Rather that than change it to red and still have the 1 stars across the board.
(Although I am getting the feeling I'm missing something here. Is there a downside to negative positive feedback that I'm missing?)0 -

It isn't the feedback that is the issue it is the stars.
The expanded seller dashboard is often ignored by sellers, so the OP here is being very sensible in being worried about the impact of all those 1 * across the board.
Just look at some of the threads we get here or on the community boards, people with near perfect feedback getting restrictions or even suspensions based entirely on their expanded seller dashboard.
I would encourage every seller, big or small to make a habit of checking the expanded seller dashboard at least once a week.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
