Hi,
Find the stopcock (or whatever valve there is) that should be on the pipework somewhere.
Bung the tank connector with a cork or similar wrapped in clingfilm.
Open a cold tap and you should have no flow.Leave the tap open.
Take out the stopcock (or whatever valve there is) by loosening the nut, water will free up once air gets behind it. Wait 'till the sucking stops. Check it for debris. At the same time you can see the state of the inside of the pipe.
