New Look - SALE

I prefer online shopping at New Look as there is often 20% discount codes and occasionally free delivery codes. Although my basket is always over £45.00 so I get free delivery anyways.
I have just received another dispatch email for the order I placed late last night. I want to order more but 5 orders in a week is a bit too much!
I made an order last week and received a free pair of sunglasses for spending over £30.00. I usually pay with my card but this one time I paid via paypal. There is one item I wish to return but it will need to be sent back via collect+ as the stores can't process refunds back to paypal accounts. The order was over £45.00 and the item I wish to return is £14.00. I want to return the item tomorrow but unsure if I would have to send the sunglasses back. My order would still be over £30.00 so not sure how it would work. Has anyone returned anything to store with the sunglasses offer and been asked to return the sunglasses too?A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -

Never tried it, but these are the T&C's, as I was looking earlier to see about the refund/exchange policy when buying online (I've ordered a few things in a couple of sizes, to see which fits best & obviously need to send the wrong size back, but won't want an exchange!)

Thanks, that answers my question. I sent an email to CS to ask about this but as they take a few days to reply I decided to set up a Facebook account just to post on the New Look page and get a quicker response but I think they just reply what they want! I was told I didn't have to return any free items I received. I placed 3 orders so received 3 pairs of sunglasses. There is two items I want to return both on different orders but if I have to return the sunglasses too I may as well just keep the item or return without receipt and get credit vouchers as one of the items is only £5, the sunglasses were priced at £10.00 (now in sale for £6.00).

I thought the sunglasses were free when I spent £30.00 or more but it was £35.00 or more

Oh dear I didn't know about their sale items return policy
I ordered 3 pairs of boots to view and decide which ones I like best with the intention of returning at least one pair to the store. That'll teach me to read t&c's before ordering!! Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass

New Look changed their return policy on sale items at Christmas. You can return your order free via the collect+ service, although it doesn't state on the website that they refund sale items for returns via post. I did post on the FB page but they just sent me a link to the refund policy, very helpful - not! The refund policy doesn't state that you can return items by post for a full refund or have I missed that?A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
Thanks just ordered some bits with free delivery for me and my daughter.
Had a massive clearout of my clothes that I kept thinking I will lose weight and wear them again one day, problem was it left me with nothing, so am slowly refilling my wardrobe with clothes that at least fit :rotfl:0 -

I don't think you've missed anything, its them! Its so unclear on their returns page. I can see how they can enforce that for items purchased in store, as you have the opportunity to try them on before your buy, but its so unfair to have the exchange only policy in place for online orders, if they do enforce it.
I'm pretty sure that you can send them back via the collect+ for a refund, but its not specified for definite in writing! I even gave up trying to find an email address to ask the question, I kept ending back up on the same B****Y page!!

I don't think there is an email address on their website but if you follow this link to the contact us page you can send a message at the bottom and they reply via email within 2 days. I have sent a message to ask about refunds on sale items via collect+ although they never seem to answer any questions clearly so I have probably wasted my time again. The facebook page is useless too, they don't even know their own T&C's and just reply with anything.

The email address I got a reply from a few days ago was webcustomerservices@newlook.co.uk not sure if you can email them direct or if you have to send it via the 'contact us' page.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
Hello Everybody,
Spoke to the Customer Care lady & she assured me that all the sale items bought online paid thru card can be returned to the store within 28 days for a full refund. Apparently, this has been communicated to all the stores. So don't panic & enjoy ur shopping. Hope this helps...:)0 -
My sale items were purchased with my Paypal account as I wasn't expecting to return any of my order. I will have to use the Collect+ returns service to return my items. Anyone know how quick New Look are at processing refunds? ThanksA home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
