Decided on the 32"
.
Yes, you do get used to them. First impression was "Wow, that's big" (or words to that effect), very in your face even with the cabinet pushed as far back into the corner as possible. But it still looks too big for the room. Even my DS came round today and said the 32" would look better. I'm quite glad he said that, sort of confirms I'm doing the right thing in going by how it looks in comparison to the size of the room.
I'm sure the smaller model will be as good picture and sound quality wise, and I'm really impressed with both. Only downside is that it isn't matt black but am happy to compromise 'cos everything else is great.
It has been ordered, not sure when it will be delivered but the shop will chase it up every few days, and we get to keep the 37" until the other one is delivered :T.
Thanks again for everyone's input, it really helped.0 -
FWIW the smaller the screen size the better the picture, anyway, so glad that you have finally settled on what you are happiest with.
Panny's are good TVs and occasionally you will be blown away with what is on screen - all depending on the camera equipment used to film in the first place. I find. (Seems to matter now whereas before it didn't).
Glad that what seemed a very daunting prospect was made easier by all the advice given."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -

Ah but TomsMoms Dvd player RECORDS.
(As does mine but the only thing that swayed me onto a Bluray AS WELL was the Sony S370 with DLNA for £70)"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
