OP, as has been mentioned above, you have not given enough info for anyone to make comments on whether you would be able to get a loan. If you do this then you may get some better help.

Well done for getting out of the debt, but this is a money saving site, and most people here along with myself, will never consider it being a great idea to take out a loan to pay for a holiday.

You mention that 2K is not a huge amount, which it obviously is to you, as you don't have it at the moment.

How long would it take you to save it?

OK fair enough i maybe jumped the gun abit, prob cause i've been reading other posts aswell and the responses are shocking in some cases, i just feel on here people are asking for something and very rarely getting what they want......only getting very negative responses.

Personally i don't view getting a loan to go on holiday as a last resort, i see it as a way to get instant money to go out in the next few days and book a holiday to enjoy in a few weeks time but thats my opinion & at the end of the day my choice.

    To answer the other questions:
Credit file = says i'm in the excellent category with a score of 967 other than that not much, shows a change of address 2 yrs ago.
Salary = including tax credits etc...totals £24k per annum
Existing debts = Other than the norm Mortgage, childcare gas elect....i don't have anything (honest)
I am on the electoral register as far as i know and i don't know how to find out my available credit??? Never heard of or seen this before.

Sorry if i seemed !!!!!y before but i genuinely just wanted an answer to the question not people's personal opinions on what i'm looking for :-)

Who are you to say some1 is financially !!!!!!??? I'm not on here looking for your snide opinion!! If you don't have something positive to say or an answer to my question then don't post......

Remember the score is meaningless, as in the band or category "they" put you in. By available credit I mean if you had a credit card what is the limit (i.e £3,000).
You mentioned you've worked hard to get it back, do you have a bad history, missed payments, defaults, or CCJs anytime in the last 6 years?

And to be fair, once again people's personal opinion is what you get on here!

Second "loan to go on holiday" post this week.

    Its silly season.

And as always, they don't want to listen.

@OP, if you've already made your mind up then go for it. But from the sounds of your first post you haven't been very good with money in the past. Don't say we didn't warn you.

    credit score mean nothing

what your credit files say do matter

how many credit applications have you made in the last 3 months?

presumably you do not have any credit cards or any existing debts?

you may well be rejected as there is no credit on your files so you have no history of repaying debts

Dabooka thanks for being constuctive and genuinely trying to help, your the kinda person i was looking for to answer on here.....

Not however the 1's who put u down, or make comments like 'it's silly season'.

Don't some of you people realise that many who come on this site are already very low, possibly stressed and depressed and your negative, degrading posts could make them even worse......possibly to the point of doing something silly!!!!

If your genuinely trying to help some1 'see the light' so to speak with regards to debt & ways to help get out it, this is not the way!!! I'm gonna stay on this forum and try and help people, hopefully balance out the unhelpful posts and negative put downs!!
