sticky shower sliding door

Dear all,
the shower sliding doors are so sticky and am not sure whether to grease it or what.

Any one with any experience please help.

    If the doors worked before there must be an underlying reason for the ‘stickiness’. A good descale/clean might work. If it does not cure the problem entirely, next step might be to apply some silicone based polishing agent (the sort you use on black plastic in cars) to the sliding surfaces. I would avoid grease personally speaking – hot water might well spread it everywhere including you and the carpet! :)

    Rub a candle stub along the runners, works with patio doors OK.

    I had this problem . The top roller wheels were worn out . Bought some new ones off ebay . That sorted it.
    Forgotten but not gone.

    For some reason I do not have any buttons (thank you, edit) etc.

    I am going to try each one in turn, all seem to be very good.
