MoneySaving parking at Milton Keynes Bowl

We're off to the MK Bowl to see Foo Fighters this weekend and the official parking seems both expensive and a bit of a bun fight on the way out (we have friends who were stuck in the car park for almost 5 hours after a recent gig there!).

Can the collective power of the forums recommend any slightly sneaky up to date parking options (not to far from the venue as my wife is beginning to 'slow down' as she approaches halfway through her pregnancy!)?

There are plenty of 5 year old posts to be found on the internet about somewhere called Shenley Lodge, but it seems to be coned off during events these days, can't seem to see anything up to date.

Thanks!

Last time we went we parked in the housing estate nearby, a look at Google Maps should help, looks from a quick scan like The Oval.

Thanks, the estates Like Shenley are a good bet, but seem to be coned off for big events at the moment.
  • Which day are you going?

Note they've just introduced a temporary CPZ in the surrounding estates so you will need a permit to park - all householders have been issued with 4 permits (although from memory last time I think people were selling there unwanted ones)
