Hi,
I'd be very grateful for a recommendation on a good program for capturing music. I have a tune in my head but I have no idea what software would help me.
I'm not musically gifted and don't have any musical instruments but would like to play around with this if there's a program someone can recommend, for both scoring it and listening to it.

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Audacity is the best free program of any kind on any platform BUT, it's not the tool for this job.
