I'm using Outlook and have obviously got the main recipients e mail address wrong as I have got a delivery failure notification (which cites the main recipients e mail address as the problem). I will tweak (unsure of how nameis spelt) and try again but would this e mail have still got through to the person that was "CC'D" into the message (whose e mail address I know to be correct) or would the whole thing have not been delivered? (I don't want to resend e mail to CC'd person if they have already received a copy)
Many thanks

Should have got through - got this from a quick google search:
"the way that SMTP operates, as described in the RFC. Failure to deliver to one recipient does not affect delivery to other recipients."0 -
As soon as you send a message to multiple recipients a separate message is sent to the mail server corresponding to each recipient. If one message fails, the others get through (hopefully).0

yes, the cc one would get through -- if that failed too, it would be bounced back .A new abacus
