Praise - amazon customer services

Bought a camera from Amazon in November, paid half with Nectar points. For no good reason, the camera stopped working. Telephoned Amazon on Sunday and was offered a refund. DS said this was no use as the camera has now gone up £50 and asked for a replacement. CS could not do this, so he asked to speak to a supervisor. DS explained that all he wanted was a replacement, either the exact same model, or the newer model which in fact was only £33 more. Supervisor agreed. Bought the newer model at the higher price, which she then adjusted to the £269 we originally paid. Old camera returned via DHL and when they get it back, I get a refund for the £269.

    Now this is the sort of service that IS available, if you don't tackle the supplier with an aggressive attitude about your problem.

    I've always been more than happy with Amazon service too.

    My few dealings with Amazon CS has always been very good. That's why I continue to shop there knowing that problems are easily sorted (not that I get many)
