I currently drive (and love) a Saab 93 2.0 s petrol...which is slowly dying.
I was planning on getting either an Avensis or Passat diesel. I commute 16k per yr on windy country roads plus 3k personal use.
Budget up to £6k at a push......plus the value of my Sabb - so thats £6050.
My wife has just poked me and suggested I try and go really green, so..............can anyone suggest a car that:
better MPG than 50 (Passat/Avensis)
Budget £6050
Fits 2 adults 3 children (for occassional weekend trips)

Honda Accord? Good mpg and nicer to drive than either a Passat or an Avensis both of which will feel utterly dull after your Saab especially on country roads.0
