Ignored Support Requests by freeparking.co.uk - HELP!!

Hi all.

I'm wondering if anyone can help with a rather troublesome issue I'm having transferring my .com domain and changing the DNS info.

In 2003, I registered my .com domain with a company called freeparking.co.uk (a reseller of Melbourne IT). I used to host with SwitchMedia, but as they have let me down on numerous occasions, and had I planned to transfer the domain and hosting to another service provider.

At first, SwitchMedia suggested that I contact Melbourne IT to obtain the authorisation code (EPP) to transfer out. After many emails to them, they finally said that this would be dealt with by their reseller freeparking.co.uk

I tried logging in to freeparking.co.uk using my original email address used to register my domain, but all I got back was an automated screen reply stating that they did not have my email stored on their system, and so I could not access the account tools required to complete a transfer. I tried emailing their support address to discuss the situation and request help, but I received no reply.

I then faxed them in line with their requirements to recreate my account, but again I received no reply, not by fax, not by email, not by phone... nothing.

So, if you found yourself in a situation where the company that is responsible for making domain changes/transfers will not reply, what can be done?

Meanwhile, I'm being charged (an extortionate amount) to retain hosting with SwitchMedia, who refuse to close my account with them until the DNS settings have been changed.

Please help if you can, as I've hit a brick wall.
