Santander letter to say no reward fee to be taken, but......

Not been doing postings for a while, but need help with this. I used to be with Alliance and Leicester and had their Premier 50 account, this was moved to a Reward Account with a ten pound fee.


got a letter in May to say no account fee would be taken in June as they were changing the dates fee were to be taken.

To be honest was going to close this account as no longer use it, but logged on tonight and they have been in for the ten pound fee!
So overdrawn by a few pounds.

Had another letter today to say fees won't be taken until August, what are they on about? Due to ill health can't get in to a branch, have phoned the telephone call centre, but they can't help.

Anyone had this?

My fiance had a letter saying this yesterday. I'll make sure I pass your experience on.

Can never tell with Santander - whether it is intergration problems, the fact they are rubbish or whether they are purposely trying to defraud fees.

They are a bit dodgy saying one thing in a letter well 2 now received another one the other day! (letter)

Will have to try and get in, got the letters as proof, will probably close the account!
